White skin cancer - safe removal and inconspicuous defect closure

Basal cell carcinoma (also known as basal cell carcinoma or white skin cancer) is a form of skin cancer that develops from the basal cells of the top layer of the skin. It is the most common skin cancer in humans and usually occurs in sun-exposed areas of the body, such as the face. The prognosis for basal cell carcinoma is generally very good, as this cancer usually grows slowly and metastasizes extremely rarely. Early diagnosis and appropriate treatment therefore significantly increase the chances of recovery.

The two-stage procedure, consisting of the removal of the tumor in the healthy tissue and the closure of the defect with an autologous skin graft, has proven to be the safest method and involves two surgical steps:

Removal of the tumor in healthytissue:
To ensure that the tumor is completely removed, the affected area is surgically removed in healthy tissue. This step aims to eliminate all cancer cells and ensure optimal healing.

Defect closure with autologous skin graft:
After the tumor has been removed, a defect is created in the skin that needs to be closed. This is where an autologous skin graft comes into play. Skin is taken from another part of your body and transplanted onto the defect. This transplant ensures effective reconstruction of the skin and enables a favorable aesthetic result.

After treatment of basal cell carcinoma, regular follow-up care is important in order to detect possible recurrences at an early stage. Your dermatologist will give you precise instructions on how to protect your skin and what you should pay attention to when caring for your wounds.

Botox®
Temporomandibular joint pain

This is usually caused by excessive tension in the chewing muscles. Botolinum toxin (BTX, Botox®) can help. With targeted micro-injections, the doctor relaxes your chewing muscles and thus alleviates your symptoms effectively and in the long term.

Sleep disorder
Snoring therapy

Do you or your partner suffer from loud snoring? With a tooth-supported splint, this can very probably be a thing of the past. The splint is worn at night and effectively prevents the soft tissue in the throat from slackening, which otherwise narrows the airway and leads to snoring. We support you on the way to restful sleep for you and your partner.

Implants
for your dentures

An implant is an artificial tooth root that grows firmly into the jawbone. Crowns, bridges and dentures can be attached to it - and a perfectly planned and securely fixed denture leads to a better quality of life.
